2008 Upper Yarra Pinot Noir
Yellingbo, Yarra Valley

Single vineyard wine from Yellingbo, 15kms north of Gembrook. Cane pruned MV6 clone on red soil with Nth Eastern aspect at approx 200m elevation.
30% whole bunches. Destem only. Cold soaked for 5 days. Fermented in an open fermenter. Selected yeast. Hand plunged. Ferment to 33C. Pressed at dryness. 30% new Damy Alliers French oak for 11 months.
Neither fined nor filtered.
